If you are unfamiliar with UPVC furniture it is important that you are aware of some points that will help you select the correct handle for your door lock. For example the distance from the centre of the cylinder to the centre of the spindle where the handle sits is a vital one to know, as well as realising that most UPVC locks use a Euro profile cylinder unlike most wooden doors that have a 5 lever mortise lock to secure the door.
